Dementia Care

Our facility is dedicated to providing a secured environment for those living with the varying stages of dementia. Our care is focused on those suffering with confusion, memory loss, wandering, restlessness, and thought disorders. We provide our residents proper stimulation and individualized programs designed to provide safety and freedom in a warm, caring, and home-like atmosphere.

Nursing Services

At Holiday Manor Care Center, it is our nursing staff that makes all the difference. We are committed to providing you quality medical care with responsiveness, courtesy, and gentleness.

Rehabilitation Services

Each of our residents come to us with very different and specific rehab needs. Our rehabilitation team is committed to creating individualized therapy programs that directly answer those specific needs. We encourage each resident to achieve their maximum outcomes of independence and ability.

Hospice Care

Hospice is a special program dedicated to the needs of the terminally ill with a palliative approach towards care. Our facility contracts with several outside Hospice Agencies trained in providing quality of life with a focus on the comfort of each individual.

Respite Care

Respite Care is a minimum nursing home stay allowing the routine caregiver, usually a family member, the ability to take time off from their duties while ensuring that their loved one receives the services expected in their absence. At Holiday Manor Care Center, we have a few routine respite care residents. They live in their homes nearby and receive care from a family member which includes medication administration, basic hygeine services, meals, etc. When that family member has a need to be away from home, they bring their loved one to us and we assume the caregiving duties. This service is paid for by Medi-Cal with an approved Treatment Authorization Request which we will happily submit on behalf of the resident. Any resident can be eligible for Respite Care with orders from their attending physician and an appropriate payment source. Please see our Business Office Manager or our Director of Nurses for further information.

Activities Program

A positive and uplifting atmosphere is vital to the success of healing, recovery and rehabilitation. Holiday Manor Care Center employs outgoing and friendly professionals to create social programs and activities to fit the residents’ needs. We also provide a monthly activity calendar to each resident to keep them informed of upcoming events. Standard monthly events include two outings, one for shopping one for dining;  at least one holiday or special occassion party; a monthly birthday party; cooking class; Bingo at least twice weekly; and daily exercise. Our most special events are held on Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Eve when we invite family and friends to join our residents and staff in celebrating with a luncheon prepared lovingly by our dietary staff. We hold a fabulous 4th of July BBQ for our residents and staff with all the trimmings (no families allowed for this one). We also enjoy a Country Breakfast a few times a year where our residents choose their preferences from a menu of items prepared by our very own Department Managers.

We welcome volunteers to our facility to help enhance our activity program. Volunteer applications can be obtained from our Activity Director or our Director of Social Services.

Social Services

Social services provide essential information, manage requests and concerns, coordinate appointments, maintain contact and open communication between the facility, families and the residents, help in care planning, and manage discharge planning for each resident. We stand up for resident’s rights and strive to make Holiday Manor Care Center their home. We assist with dental, optometry and hearing evaluations upon the request of the resident’s attending physician. In addition to all of this, it is our Director of Social Services who assists our resident and their familiy or friends through the admission process seeking to supply the answers to the many questions that arise about staying in a nursing home.
